I don't think so. _AX is an alias for the AX register in Borland C; I
don't know of any other compilers that support this type of "register
handling". Bit of a pity really, I've found it to be quite useful.

int myfunc(void)
{
    return _ax;
}

[f:\csource\test]qcl -c test.c
test.c
test.c(3) : error C2065: '_ax' : undefined

[f:\csource\test]wcl -c test.c
TEST.C(3): Error! E1011: Symbol '_ax' has not been declared
Error: Compiler returned a bad status compiling 'TEST.C'

Andrew
