Because he is one of many I know who use std OSX (in his case on a laptop)
as a development machine to run server processes.

You were wittering on about "OSX Server" as if the fundamental
under the hood stuff wrt it being a *ix was different.

This from you? ROFLMAO.

It is a Windows vs *ix fight. All others have folded inc OS/2, BEOS etc.

I find it very funny that you are claiming to know the "typical mac
buyer" when you clearly do not.

The "typical Mac buyer" is actually one of 2 "typical mac
buyers" ie.

A) I know nothing about computers & do not wish to & just want
something which just works hence ruling out windows & linux.

B) I want an easy to use Unix.

My father is in category (A) & many other I know are in category (B).

But hey why would a MS drone know anything about a "typical Mac
buyer" when they clearly know so little about a "typical Windows
buyer" that the article in question & a number of other similar
pieces have been written upon the release of Vista.
