Ok, I will accept that Telemate for DOS has limits here.  There is a 
Telemate for Windows, and as far as I know, it does communicate via 
.dll or .vxd.  I don't use Telemate for Windows, so I really can't 
say.  However, I do know that there is a Telemate for Windows 
because I downloaded it from the Telemate Western U. S. support BBS.
