SOME do.
Some do not.
Visit a Toys R Us sometime, and see what kind of toys young children are
STILL primarily interested in. The boys section is still a lot of military
stuff, ASTRONAUTS, monsters, action heroes, but a smattering of "science",
model rockets and planes to build and fly, stuff like that.
the girls section is same as it ever was, too. DOLLS dolls dolls. Baby
dolls to play-nurture and dress up, and hip-fashion-models to emulate,
dress up, and now of course they are making them singers. There's a shock.
They even have baby-dolls now with the whorish Bratz eye makeup. Then
theres the plethora of pony stuff. Some of the Barbies are portrayed as
vets and doctors, good for them, but of course, no combat action Barbie
figures. Regardless of your imagination and baseless claims of what girls
want to emulate and become, the vast majority of this shit in this
particular toys r us girls section, reflects their interests as traditional
girls stuff. Mommies and glamorous fashion sluts.
The "science section" is now in a sort of gender-neutral area, but
curiously, closer to the girls section. Its full of microscopes, ant farms,
pseudo-construction sets, that kind of thing. A stock girl was putting some
stuff up and she muttered, "I dont know why they have this stuff all the
way over here, no girls ever look at this junk".
You are now free to MAKE UP whatever shit-for-brains rebuttal you can come
up with. It wont change the fact that my real-life experience, the other
day, is in more or less disagreement with your retarded
ivory-tower-equality-on-your-terms imagination.
