Gee I wonder if SCO had the right to give SCO stuff away for
free.....ooooops how long did SCO distribute it's own code under the
GPL.....?

SCO are just so full of it that I have to think of nasty things so I can
stop laughing long enough to breathe.

Let's see if I can get this right...Caldera do a fund raising thingy on the
basis of being a "linux" company & with this cash they....buy
SCO...they then continue to market & distribute their Linux distrib as
they had done since before they owned SCO....& given it's linux etc
it's "Source code & all"....so then....

Excuse me while I breathe.....

& that's just part of their problems...there's also the problems wrt
AT&T vs BSD wrt "unix"....oh & then there's their problem
wrt claiming code others have invented....anyone running a "big
systems" on SCO ? ....but hey they "invented" the big
systems stuff...Oh & then they don't even own the name
"unix"....

Excuse me while I breathe......

& then comes sh*tting all over their customers & partners (& potential
customers) & it's possible customers (real & potential) &
indeed "partners" (e.g. HP & Suse) don't like being sh*t on
or threatened. Oh & then...out & out insulting the linux community
thus killing any linux business they had...

& then...to cap it all....it looks like MS put them up to all this as
part of a failing FUD campaign against Linux.

Business we don't need no steeenking business!!!!

Does anyone seriously thing anyone is going to base their business on SVR6
or SCOx? Let me see.....No?

let me see.....Linux, BSD, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX...SVR what?

let me see....J2EE.....Net....what's Scox?

If I was a SCO shareholder I'd be requesting an emergency General Meeting right now.
