I'm not sure about different results from the different keyboards but
I'd assume you're entirely correct! MSGED/NT has trouble with ketboard
input. Not only will the CAPS LOCK key affect exiting MSGED, it will cause
all input while in the editor to act as if the shift key was always
pressed. This will work if you want all caps but when you hiot any of the
number keys at the top of the keyboard ( not the keypad ) it will also give
you '!, {at}, #, $,' and so on. Apparently, the keyboard is much more
difficult to deal with in NT...
