Similar thing with our financial controller (well, he was asking questions
a lot anyway). I think a lot of the financial and business newsletters and
magazines are awash with Linux/ OpenSource stories aswell as all the IT
mags.

I gave a presentation to our board of direcotrs on Monday. One
of the
questions I fielded was regarding our use of Open Source
software.
The
Director seemed rather knowledgeable of Open Source and let me know
that I
should be looking to remove the company from the grips of Microsoft
whenever possible.
I cannot imagine that this question does not take place in many other
meetings round the world.
