Same types who build their houses on the southeastern seashores and then whine when a hurricane washes their house out to sea, or who build their houses at the FOOT of the 40-foot bluff on Black Creek near me, or the Suwannee River, and then whine when a flood carries their house off . . . Too dumb to look up to the TOP of that 40-foot bluff and wonder why the guy up there has his house on stilts! >And then there's people like Dad and I, who >LOVE being in flight paths, especially military -- oooh, SEXY bird.... >(right now they live in the flight path for Luke AFB))) I grew up across the St. Johns River from Jacksonville Naval Air Station, right across from the jet-engine test facility. We got used to it. Keys grew up a block and a half from a railroad track. When we lived under the flight path to Jacksonville International Airport, the planes bothered him at first; I was immune. When we stayed with his parents, the trains in the middle of the night woke me up; he kept on sleeping. I do have to say that the roar of those Navy jet engines was right comforting during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962!
