subject: nodelist maker

That was a while ago (some months, perhaps a year or two).

I guess I'm still interested. I was looking at a fully C++ class-based
design that was as portable as possible so it could be ported to as many
environments as possible. Basically, the end result should be able to do
anything MAKENL can currently do, and whatever else is useful. Not really
interested in doing "compilers" (or index generation) as such,
since indexes/databases produced from the distributed nodelist tend to
differ a lot between platforms. Actually generating diffs and
combining/compiling them would be the focus.
