It sounds like both of you are saying the same thing:
He's saying that women can't be trusted and you're
saying that he shouldn't trust women.
I'm going to discuss this in a thread where you remarked
about grass growing greener: Women's primary problems
with "balancing" traditional and modern roles is that
you want all the benefits of being a man (power,
equality, etc.) combined with still be treated like
helpless girl-children. This isn't the fault of
"society" "pressuring" you, it's just a simple
reality that you can't "have it all". Yes, life
is tough like that. Men get that message by the age
of 8 or so (usually from people such as yourself.)
It would be nice if you heard it.
In the meantime, many women wind up in hardship because
their games backfired on them. Some men here find
the situation satisfactory in a cosmic justice kind
of way, some others even cheer and find it makes
them happy, I find it regrettable. A lot of human
misery could have been avoided if you girls didn't
get equality with men to hurt yourself and others.
