G'Day John,

 JG> Hi Frank,

JG> The last bit of code I posted to you wasn't exactly perfect, I
Interesting, it never left MPCUG, so i only got these two now as i logged
on, may have something to do with the size of the mssg.
Have you heard of Csplit ? You should use it, for large messgs like this,
it's on the bbs here somewhere, fidonet normally frowns on anything larger
than 90 lines.Anyway Csplit will split a textfile into chunks, and assemble
it on receipt. Most ppl on Fido/Prog would have it, and even if they don't
the file remains completely text so it can be assembled manually.
Btw, the latest Bwave will split mssgs automatically too.

Make sure the echo you intend to post the uuencoded zip to, allows that.
I know the C_Echo and C++ Echo doesn't, if you do it, you'll get an angry
letter from the moderator, and the msg will probably be deleted.

I'll have a look at the code, but will have to convert a few bits..
With regards to the faster filemove, i have thought about that too some
time ago. When using Xtree to move a file from dir to dir on the same drive
it just happens too fast to be a copy/delete sequence. It seems that Xtree may
change the directory entry in the FAT for that file, or vice-versa. Until i
get another drive i'm not gonna play with that one though, call me chicken:)
Suppose on a floppy....Hm, maybe i will :)
