 Hi,
A couple of things come to mind. Are you saving the macro to a key?
In which case you have to run Qconfig.exe, after editing
Qconfig.dat, and select (K) for Keys, then (S) for Save changes and
quit for Qconfig to update Q.exe to contain your new macro. I have
my snail-mail address tied to my F12 key - handy for letter writing.
I see on further reading of your message that you used Macro Record.
To save that macro for further use in another editing session, you
have to save it, and any other macros you create, to a file using
Macro Write ( Esc, M, W is the command) which will prompt you for a
file name for the new file. It does say in the docs however, that
macros assigned only to the scrap area will not be saved. In future
editing session you need only to execute Macro Read (Esc, M, R) and
enter the name of your macro file for the editor to load all your
 stored macros for that session.
Also, in macros, any text you wish to be included, like the sample
you gave above, HAS to have quote marks around it, exactly as you
have done above, or it wont be there when you try to execute the
 macro.
 Hope this helps some.
