*NOW*, after the system has been off for more than 12 hours, cdrecord actually
*writes* the cdrw!! The Adaptec BIOS is - for all SCSI devices including the
cdrewriter - set to 80 MB/s synchronous transfer speed, wide negotiation and
enable disconnect.
