I found a U.S. ARMY book in the Adult side of the Public Library in my
neighborhood called "A MENOMIC DEVICE FOR MEMORIZING THE INTERNATIONAL
MORSE CODE", and it helped me a lot to learn the sounds of the letters.

I was allowed on the Adult Side because that was where the Record
Player with Head Phones connected to it was and I was allowed to listen
to Classical Music over there.

When I saw the Morse Code Book was over in the Adult Section I asked
if I could borrow it and the Librarian let me check it out.

It did help me when my friend would sound off something in morse.

That's what happened to me.

You have talents I don't have and I've appreciated your sharing them
(and things) with me.

After I got my KN4ZIQ Novice ticket, on one Saturday several of us
had Crystals around 3.720 Mc/s and we had a Rag Chew at Five WPM.
The Rule was that no one was to BURN anyone out by sending too fast.
I remember that day very well, as Tony the tiger would say:
It was G-R-E-A-T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
