I have my R4C/T4XC in pieces ready for replacement of blue filters. =
Having heard a small amount of scraping from the T4XC when tuning, I now =
can see that, in comparison to the RX, the dial plates are very "floppy" =
on the PTO shaft, and occasionally rub lightly together. They seem =
almost totally unsupported, in comparison to the R4C which seem quite =
well seperated, and which hold position much better against light finger =
pressure. It's almost as if there is some kind of spacer missing between =
the dial plates. Is there supposed to be some kind of spacer, or can I =
easily tighten something up to stop the scraping without taking out the =
whole PTO assembly?
Also, can I just confirm that there is no white diffuser plastic to use =
with the meter blue filter. How to bend the gel into the right shape, or =
does it just become formed with heat of the bulb?
Sorry, 3 questions at once there!
