Do you mean for yourself?  Your own independance, not based on someone
else's lame-brained ideology of what you're supposed to need?  If so I
agree 100% which is the main reason I never bought or used Windows.  What
for?  Near as I can tell it is completely useless.  Always has been and I'm
willing to bet it always will be.

Forever.  As long as there are suckers wandering the planet with more money
then brains.  That might not be forever but probably longer then either of
us cares about.  ;-)

have, never will.  I am content to let the kiddies play with their pirated
