And longer to download. =)

Paul Edwards started the trend of releasing all the executables and
documentation along with the source code all in one huge archive, but I
split everything up again when I released Msged 4.10.

Kim's since sent me a copy of the source code to `msged Quark 1.20', which
came with the msged 1.99 documentation, so it looks like the code is based
on 1.99. Comparing the original 1.99L executable (the one you sent me)
with this version though, they are quite different, at least from the
perspective of the user interface, and there are a lot of non-English words
in the source code, so it has been modified quite a bit.

Yes, as written in your notes to me in the archive you e-mailed. Very strange. :-)

Patching any version of Msged for Y2K compliance, provided I have the full
source code and a suitable compiler, is about a 20-minute job, including
the time it takes to recompile and test. But if there's no demand, I won't
waste my time. =)

Apart from Y2K concerns, I've been looking at the older versions, curious
if any features had actually been removed in later versions. As it turns
out, msged 2.00 had its own configuration facility which created a
configuration file for you. I'm a bit perplexed why this feature was
removed.
