Surely SCO's complaint boils down to IBM doing work on Linux that derived
from SCO copyright code?
Which can only be shown by reference to the original sources and the
testimony of expert witnesses. Which presumably requires a trial.
Eric Raymond's piece is interesting, although I think the sales pitches for
Open Source colour things too much. It's not exactly a dispassionate
analysis.
