True enough...  but as you see, even WITH a phone I sometimes end up
effectively being without Fido...    I get on, download packets and
have to wait for a break in things to be able to get to actually reading
and answering them...   Ah, well...  :)

Much has changed... but much has stayed close to the same... there are
still nice people to be found on the bbs's and in the Fido echos (if you
pick them properly, anyway ).  There's not a lot of genealogy on the
echoes any more, either... they were VERY active earlier...
