subject: Criminal? U R Really Nutz

RW> I'm passing no judgments on the veracity of claims made
RW> recently in this echo folks, btw. Just helping to point out that
RW> oftentimes until one has walked a mile in the shoes one doesn't know
RW> everything there is to know.

RC> Except that in the case of the individual in question, as you saw
RC> at least twice, we have received detailed biographies, now multiply
RC> that by his entire tenure in this network.

so what? what's wrong with that if someone wants to write their life story
or parts of it???

RC> I have longed held that in a venue in which there are no face to
RC> face communications, when all that can be passed are thoughts,
RC> ideas and opinions, it is most prudent to withhold intimate details
RC> about oneself. To this end, there are no secrets pertinent to this
RC> individual that are not known, unless of course everything he has
RC> conveyed are boasts and lies.

not everyone believes as you do WRT their life's story...

RC> I have long tried to tell him, as have others, to attempt to make
RC> his background more of a mystery, instead of an open book, he will
RC> tell you himself, that he rejects that advice (he calls this
RC> honesty as if he needs to prove that his Dad can beat up your Dad).
RC> I am of course talking about those things that can be turned
RC> against you, then of course as you might have observed, there is
 RC> the (painful) minutia.

have you ever considered why he is telling the truth and putting in so much detail???

RC> So once one opens these doors, the cat has gotten out.

RC> He did not need to tell everyone of his experiences with the law,
RC> who he blames for being in that position etc etc..

does it really matter that he did? sure, you and others use it as cannon
fodder to fire back at him and put him down but is there really a need for
that? is that need so that those who are doing it can raise themselves
higher and try to feel better about themselves??

RC> The point here is Richard, is that this man should not be casting
RC> judgement onto others, when he hasnt a moral or ethical leg to
RC> stand on. I have never been in jail or placed under arrest, I will
RC> be damned if I am going to be judged by someone who has, because I
RC> dont formulate my views as he does and possess the same opinions.

no one should be casting any judgements on others because no matter how
pure they think themselves to be, there is something that places them in
the spotlight of not being as pure as they think themselves to be...

your attitude about those who have landed in jail for one reason or another
is rather telling... and truly sad in a way... especially since it conveys
the attitude that you are somehow better than they... that, in itself, is
at least one thing that places you in that spotlight of non-purity...
