Do you _really_ think first, that anyone who thought you were a
threat to national security would pause for one second before lying
to you in answering your questions?  Do you _really_ think you could
go to court and say "Well, he told me he wasn't a cop, and he lied,
so you have to let me go"?  Do your _really_ believe that?
As for the rest of your post, don't you think that peope who _are_
involved in system security would know the answers to your rather
