BQ>In a note to All Ed Koon scribbled:
BQ>again. This message belongs in the BBS_ADS echo. This area is the area
BQ>for buying selling and trading used personal items.
Saw your message to him, and thought I'd ask a question that I've
wondered about for a long time...
Then _WHY_ is this echo called _CLASSIFIED_? In a newspaper, the
classifieds are used for a little bit of everything. Ranging from
selling, to quick advertisements, to help wanted's, to personals, to....
everything.
If you are going to limit the echo to something, then why not call it
"For Sale" or "Sale/Trade" echo or something? If it's not going to be
like the classifieds that everybody is already familiar with, then the
name needs to be changed. If it's just limited to "buying selling and
trading used personal items" then, frankly, there's no reason for this
echo to exist, since that's the very thing the ForSale echo is for.
