Do you have more than one message packet in the directory where bluewave looks for message packets? If so, When you first open the reader, and choose (O)pen message packet, what you get first is a listing of all the message packets you have sitting in that directory, and on each line, there is a packet name, size and date, along with a place for stats for the packet, which get filled in once the packet has been opened for the first time. It is that listing to which we are referring. :) The set-up for the way the dates are shown at the top of message screen itself is part of the reader's configuration. I think the date in the header there has more to do with how the bbs offline door handles the dates when the message gets tossed out into the echo. JB> Am I missing something? I still use REPFIX. REPFIX essentially just fixes the dates on the messages as the reply packet is being zipped up. My Wizard hubby did a more basic fix on the reader (and the TG BW door, along with explanation of how to apply the fix to other doors), which makes the use of REPFIX unnecessary. It is available at a couple of bbs's, including Waldo's Place. ISTR, though, that you are just dial-up, and not telnet? Do you have web access at all, or email? Waldo's Place is also on the web, and you can get files from that side of things. Or I could send you the zipfile as an email message, if you have email. ttyl neb ... MODEM?
