        Although different, Vista and XP are cousins, in Vista, if I
   do your click, I get to a side bar on the setting screen where
   there is an offer to play with the font size, the default is as you
   have it set, 96 DPI, the choice offered is 120 but also there is
   that Custom where one can select his onw size.

 DS> That sounds like a pretty good machine, especially for the price.

        I am quite happy with it, it runs very quiet. Everest says the
   fan RPM is 800 to 900. But it keeps it cool enough, the fins on the
   Duo CPU radiator are huge, very efficient.

        My daughter who coded for MS a few years ago and her hubby who
   still codes for NASA and CAE now, came to have a look and are
   thinking of getting one for their 10 year old son. Not the greatest
   machine but $$ for GHz, is pretty good.
