Make sure each message area has a full path -that's the big one.
E.g.:
Path D:\max\fn\muffin instead of \fn\muffin or whatever as allowed by
Max.
A common symptom of not having full paths is the door saying it can't
find the message areas or that they're not accessable.
This is not a big deal, really, but the BW door docs don't say you need
a full path, and previous versions of the door worked without them.
So someone gets the new door, pops it in over the old one... and bang,
it no longer works.
*shrug*
Other considerations -as told to me- are making sure your msgarea.ctl
is neat and tidy, with minimal extra blank spaces and line feeds. Not
sure what effect extra spaces have... but several people have said it
caused them problems.
If you have the older BW door, you'll no longer need to run the Fixsilt
util for the new door.
