apparently you don't know any ambulatory cripples, tim... one of my best
friends is a cripple thanks to someone else's stupidity... yet, my friend
doesn't have to take any medications for his problem nor is he bedridden or
wheelchair bound... in fact, he can walk and run and climb pretty much just
like anyone else who isn't crippled... his prosthetic leg isn't even
noticible unless he in shorts...

there are many folk who are crippled and deal with pain on a daily basis
who can and do still get up and do what they can... sure, it may hurt while
doing it but they can and do do it anyway... afterwards, then they deal
with the pain how they have to...
