In fact, there are some CS> foods they won't import from us due to different food safety laws. I checked out 'asian' section yesterday and nothing like you mention was there. Lots of soy sauces and stuff like that, but nothing designed to flavor rice per se. However we do have a very large asian market out on Clairemont mesa that has all kinds of things you would like - squid, octopus, stuff like that and I'll bet money they have the rice flavoring too. I know they sell rice in 100 pound bags so odds favor they would carry the flavoring? I admit I look at a lot of the stuff they sell and have no idea just what it is, and no way would I eat it! :) --- MultiMail/Win32 v0.46* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 34/999 90/1 120/228 123/500 138/666 140/1 222/2 226/0 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 285 712/848 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 SEEN-BY: 2320/105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
