PE> Does anyone want to experiment to find the ultimate set PE> of colours that works for both colour and monochrome PE> screens? It would be nice if it were shipped with that. RS> I'm not convinced its actually possible. Particularly when RS> you allow for the result you can get on some laptops/notebooks. PE> Maybe I didn't say that clearly, what I want is it to actually PE> be *visible* on the monochrome. It comes close at the moment. Sure, I understood thats what you meant. I meant that over the full range of whats out there, not just considering mono cards/screens, but much more importantly the laptops/notebooks, its not possible to have a color scheme which is guaranteed to be visible/usable on all. PE> P.S. BTW, this means that I am now a qualified MSDOS PE> beta tester, at the lowest level in fact (there's PE> nothing lower than a monochrome text card). RS> Fraid so. You are presumably using Hercules. MDA is lower. PE> Nope, I'm using a monochrome text card, lower than MDA. Nope, aint no such animal. PE> I can't display ANY graphics at all, just characters. Sounds like its actually MDA. What does MSD call it ? --- PQWK202* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 690/718 711/809 934 @PATH: 711/934 |
