We do not have a demo of TSE Jr 4.0 available at this time, but we do have a
demo (shareware) version of QEdit Advanced v3.0 available (version 3.0 was
the last release before version 4.0).  It is available from our support BBS,
Compuserve forum, internet, and web site as QEDIT3C.ZIP. (note that it is
listed as QEDIT3.ZIP on Compuserve).
We also have a demo of TSE Pro v2.0 (as TSETD2.ZIP) that is available from

Announcing the NEW version of QEdit:  The SemWare Editor Junior v4.0
QEdit is now sporting a NEW look and a NEW name.
In its new 4.0 release, our classic QEdit line of editor products has
undergone impressive improvements.  Much of the look and feel of QEdit has
been updated to offer even greater ease of use, similar to our popular new
product, The SemWare Editor Professional (TSE Pro).  While still maintaining
the same features that you have come to know and love, we have added
numerous highly-requested features, many of which were inspired by favorable
feedback on comparable features already available in The SemWare Editor
Professional.  And to more fully align QEdit with TSE Pro, the QEdit product
line has been renamed The SemWare Editor Junior (TSE Jr.).  QEdit Advanced
will now be known simply as The SemWare Editor Junior (TSE Jr.).  To
distinguish our two other QEdit products, the following name changes have
been made:
  QEdit for OS/2 is now The SemWare Editor Junior for OS/2 (or TSE Jr./2).
  QEdit TSR is now The SemWare Editor Junior / Mem-Res (or TSE Jr./Mem-Res).
In keeping with the long-acclaimed QEdit heritage, The SemWare Editor Junior
maintains many of QEdit's familiar features, including:  small file size
(less than 70K) for the editor program itself (still named Q.EXE!); minimum
memory requirements (only 128K); only a single program file required for
editing (except for additional files needed to use the spelling checker);
access to commands and options through pull-down menus; and a versatile, yet
easy-to-use, macro scripting language.  With its debut release under the new
name, TSE Jr. also brings new capabilities to address growing needs in the
text editing community.  Among the dozens of features added in version 4.0
