A man loses the same things, and then some. It seems that society
places no value on a pure and virtuous man though! :( Nor does society
care that a man loses his youth.

And in this day and age, women can start over. The difference is that
they may or may not be able to have a family when starting over
depending upon how old they are. (Men can sire children far longer
than women can bear them).
