Maximus is like an old friend and I really hate to let go of it. The box
the bbs was on here had several catastrophic failures in succession and I
am trying to rebuild the bbs.

At this point I am using Cygwin (a free Unix-like environment --
cygwin.com) on a PC running Windows 2K. Once I get things figured out I
plan to migrate to SUSE Linux.
