Seems a technicality was brought to my attention..

Confirmed..

Fidonet echo tags are like passwords, except in case usage sans the unix systems..

The following three echotags:

ALL POLITICS
ALL-POLITICS
ALL_POLITICS

All might look familiar but are not the same as far as being handled by
Fidonet, or any other network that utilizes Fidonet Technology (FTN's)

All three examples are in the International Echolist...

About ALL POLITICS and ALL_POLITICS, these two echotags are listed by Bob Klahn...

ALL POLITICS is not a valid echo tag, for purposes of Fidonet mail
processing software, an echotag cannot contain a space and a few other
special characters... A tosser might recognize the tag as 'ALL' but not as
what its lister intended it to be. ALL_POLITICS, also listed by Bob Klahn,
while a valid or legal echotag ____IS___NOT___  in distribution with the
North American Backbone, Fidonet Zone One, North America.

This leaves only one echotag of the three mentioned and contained in the
International Echolist.

ALL-POLITICS

Note the hyphen and the absence of a SPACE or UNDERSCORE..

This echo/echotag ____IS____ distributed by the North American Backbone,
Fidonet Zone One North America and has been distrubuted by said entity for
____YEARS____!

Furthermore ALL-POLITICS as shown by the most recent copy of the
International Echolist is listed in ____YOUR____ name!

You are the rightful moderator of ALL-POLITICS as recognized by the Backbone..
