| subject: | Re: Cage suggestions? |
Thanks for the reply, Linda. After a few days of no responses I determined that I wasn't going to get any and kept looking online. I'm glad you recommend Hagen, because they're the once I decided to go with. I already ordered one of these: http://www.hagen.com/canada/english/birds/product.cfm?CAT=8&PROD_ID=08042610010101&SUBCAT=805 It's big, longer than it is tall, horizontal bars all the way around, and simple. I was looking at all of those fancy cages and none of them appealed to me. The budgie doesn't care if its house looks like yours. ;) They all looked really flimsy, too. I'm kinda excited that I've actually purchased a cage, because now I've made the commitment and I'm DEFINITELY getting a bird (otherwise I'll be out $200 and have a cage I can't use). I've been researching birds since I was in high school (about 6 years ago). I always wanted one of the bigger birds, like a macaw, but I don't have room for one of those right now. Maybe when I get my own house. But for now I'll start with the little guys. ;) --Nicole --- UseNet To RIME Gateway {at} 1/28/05 7:27:34 PM ---* Origin: MoonDog BBS þ Brooklyn,NY 718 692-2498 (1:278/230) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 278/230 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
