Exactly, exactly, exactly that.  A boy that age is like a developing,
experimental computer operating system that should be guided carefully,
and if some harpy has an affair with him, it's like sending the OS a
virus that causes total system failure and sets the development back by
years.

Yup.  If you offered the NCAA champion boxer a shot a Lennox Lewis,
he'd probably take it, and he'd be pounded right through the canvas.
The promoter would say, "What?  He consented to it!  And look how
physically capable he is!"  Well sure, he's capable, but he didn't have
Lewis' traning or experience, and after that beating, he may not want
to get in the ring again.  Even if he does, he won't be terribly
confident.  Such a fight could ruin his career and may even leave him
punch drunk, or worse.

Fourteen-year-old boys are _children_.  They don't know what the best
decisions are, which is why there are parents, and if you can find a
parent who shrugs off the statutory rape of his or her boy, you'll be
the first to ever make such a discovery.
