A good note to remind anyone with a real fireplace, to have it professionally
cleaned annually. We have ours done in July and 1/2 the cost comes back as a
deduction off our homeowers insurance (just have to drop off the recipt).
It's been going for 12 hours now. I might add, our heating bill is 100$ a
month lower thanb neighbors and has been so all last winter and into this
one, for a 300$ outlay in wood. We use it as accesory heat 4 months of the
year and have enough wood for this year from that 300$ load. 100$ less
average for 8 months is 800$ savings for cost of 300 or a net savings of 500$
I'm happy.
