I remember that. I built up one similar on a bored and DE-stroked 259
block. The studbuster cam that replaced their 'stock' and all the
'soft' camshafts had almost identical timing and duration as the Chev.
"Duntov" cam. I had monster intake valves and the exhausts almost
touched the intake cavity. Screamingest Stude engine I ever built.
Vandals stole the carb (WCFB Carter) off it and left the hood up. When
I found it the engine was locked solid. I beat the crap out of the ones
I thought might have done it, but never had the satisfaction of sending
them up the river..... It was in a '56 Power Hawk when it was
destroyed.....
