I think the Visual FoxPro: Unleashed is the title of a Sams book, but I read 
your message anyway.  
Microsoft seems bent on replacing the mainframe world.  FORTRAN is very much 
a part of that.  I plan to attend a M$ seminar on SQL-Server and Transaction 
Processing in a few weeks.  I'll post what I learn.  I just received a 120 
day evaluation copy of Transaction Server and need a couple of free days to 
experiment, but it looks like M$ is going after it.
Microsoft does so many things right that it's hard not to get upset when they 
foul up now and again.  I'll still voice my opinions for and against, though.
