 No, they don't. That's the right wing lie. The top 20% pay about
 50% of the taxes, but they get about 50% of the income. The top
 2% don't. That's a 10 to 1 difference.

 BTW, those figures are a bit behind the times. The top incomes
 probably get more of the total income now. And that was before
 the Bush tax cuts, so the tilt of taxpayment may have shifted
 away from the top incomes.
