On 12-13-10, MARK LEWIS said to ROSS CASSELL:

RC> Your boy claimed to have been a full fledged A10 weapons mechanic
RC> in the USAF, didnt happen with 65 days of service.

ML>interesting... USAF Basic training is 6 weeks... that's 42 days leaving 23
ML>days... the "shramies" that were trained in Rantoul, Il at
Chanute AFB
ML>(where i took my 6 months MMII Ground Control Systems Specialist training)
ML>were fully fledged air-missle techs in 2 weeks (IIRC)... the MPs and
ML>Firefighters that were there were also 2 week schools... our 6 month
ML>schooling on the MMII systems was the longest of all courses taught at

ML>Chanute... so, how is it impossible for someone to have learned to be and
ML>been classified as a weapons tech in less than 65 days???

There are several things against it, some that come right from Sauer, and a
few things that *should* have come from Sauer, that didn't.

When this controversy first started, I sought out on the web, and contacted,
one or two groups of former individuals who worked in the MOS Sauer claimed to
have been trained in.

This was around the time Sauer had claimed to have witnessed several planes
crashing at his base.

First of all......another poster was engaging in a thread that included Sauer
as one of the participants, and the subject of his living in Wisconsin came
up. The other poster told Sauer she'd never been to Wisconsin, and asked him
if he'd ever lived anywhere else. He replied:

"......briefly in Texas....." .....Otto Sauer

It gets better.....

The former Weapons Systems Mechanic group I got in contact with was sort of
headed by a retired Sargeant who had retired as an E-7 or E-8.

According to him, the training Sauer was claiming to have gotten was only
available at a base in Colorado, Lowry? I think.

But Sauer said he only lived briefly in Texas. Funny he didn't include
Colorado. A good reason he didn't mention it was probably because he was
unaware that the tech school he would have had to attend wasn't in Texas, but
Colorado!

He tried to cover that by claiming he'd been sent to Lowry, but then was sent
back to Lackland to get discharged, and just forgot to mention Lowry. As if
the Air Force was incapable of discharging people in Colorado, right?
Yeah....right!

But there's another reason I know he's full of shit about his activities in
the Air Force, A reason thats so silly as to be almost ridiculous!

I've waited for around fifteen years or so (just about as long as this little
Air Force story of Sauer's has been going on) for Sauer to come out with it,
but he hasn't.

And the more he talks about his Air Force activities (which included, by the
way, a claim to have worked on the (then new) Sidewinder missile), and the
more he leaves this little tidbit out of his tales, the more he makes himself
out to be the liar he is.

By the way.....when he first made the claim to have witnessed first hand
several plane crashes at his base (which would have been Lackland Air Base in
Texas), Lackland didn't even have an active runway anymore! Plus, the aircraft
he claimed to have witnessed crashing, the closest bas he'd have been able to
see one of them go down in the year he was in, 1978, was somewhere in
Virginia!

I looked it up, searched out all Air Force crashes in the year he was in, and
he could not possibly have witnessed any at all during his time in. During the
brief time he was in, there weren't any!

He finally, after many years, admitted he'd not seen any plane crashes.

"My claim about seeing plane crashes, I never did." ....Otto Sauer

But the clincher is the item I've been waiting for Sauer to come out with for
many years now, and he hasn't. And its so obvious as to be laughable. In fact,
if I gave you two little words to type into a search engine like Google, the
minute the first screen came up and you read a little bit, you'd know good and
well Sauer has been lying his ass off from the first time he claimed to have
gone to Weapons Systems Mechanics school.

The two words:

LOAD TOADS!!!!

In the entire number of years Sauer has been claiming to have been a Weapons
Systems Mechanic, and to have worked on Warthogs (which by the way, were not
`at' any tech school during Sauer's short stint in the Air Force for him to
have worked on, according to a group of former Weapons Systems Mechanics), he
never once used that term. Ever. And it would have been one of the first
things he'd have learned within the first few days at a tech school.

If you bother to look on the net, you'll see that they refer to themselves as
knuckle-dragging Load Toads, with a great measure of pride.

Sauer would have mentioned that term at least. He never did. Not once. Because
he never heard it, didn't know about it. He's a liar!
