This is the second time Ive seen someone write this down and Id like to
show something to the contrary....

For one, Ive seen the 586/100 that Greg has running side by side with a
Pentium 90 and the 586 was as fast/faster on most counts-

Secondly, from the manual for my new motherboard -

        AMD DX4/120     402     LandMark
        Cyrix 586-100   422     Landmark

The Cyrix chip IS faster, and also comes in a 133MHz version.

Price wise, its best value for your money.
