subject: Recommended PCI SCSI card

-> I'm taking over a network, and am going to replace single EIDE
-> drives with duplexed SCSI drives. What's a good PCI SCSI card out
-> there for use with Netware 3.12? I'm a little rusty - the last time
-> I worked on a Netware network, PCI wasn't even out in the market
-> yet. I swore by my EISA Adaptec 1740s.
Adaptec is the brand I'd stick with for any server; the AHA-29xx series
are your basic PCI cards, and I think the 39xx series will address the
issue of duplexed drives. Fwiw, the xxx0 designates a floppy-less
card, while xxx2 indicates a card which has the floppy controller on
it.
