For whatever reason, they seem to be gone now.  :(

Smart little critters for sure. :)  Do they manage to get enough grease off 
the pole so they can reach the feeder?

I can see that. :)  My old fat house cat used to watch birds on the lawn 
and start that teeth chatter thing.  If I let him out he would never catch 
one, being bowling ball shaped, but man did he want to try!  :)
