| subject: | Where qwk tag info stored |
I am reviewing again the Maximus manual for future installation at Planet Maca's to replace Synchronet. Being I have over 400 forums not including over 1400 NNTP newsgroups I was wondering how can I use the sub catagories with a wildcard tag option when selecting message bases to download. In my msdos test machine I tried fidonet.* which failed to select all of the fidonet.* hiararchy eg: fidonet.muffin Therefore If I had to massage the users message base tag file.. where is it stored? I know they get stored somewhere as when I logout and relogin.... they are still the same ones I tagged. Also for qwk nets.... Is there a QWK to REP and REQ to QWK converter for Unix/Linux> or a something that allows me to transfer messages with qwk networked bbs systems? Lastly, I want to consider interfacing my NNTP server into Maximus. Both would be running on the same machine running Linux (Slackware 8.0) Has anyone got ideas on how to do this? Michele Marie Dalene ... Oh dear, there goes the end of civilisation as we know it ... again. --- blueMail/Linux 0.11 --- SBBSecho 2.00-Linux* Origin: Planet Maca's Opus (860)738-7176 300-33600bps (1:142/7176) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 142/7176 928 906 106/1 2000 633/267 |
