Ah... as I recall there is a setting in Msged.cfg that determines if the
saved (or printed) message generated with  is plain
text with no header or verbatime.

In my Msged.cfg I have:

Outfile   +h:\bt\msg\save\save.msg,t

I think the ",t" at the end makes it skip the header. Other than
that, I can offer no suggestion. I'll try it here and see what happens.

OK, it printed with no header. I guess you can't print headers. Sorry.
