But chances are good to get a well built ground loop then - and 
Robert spoke of a safe thing...
And the guy at the second mixer has no chance if the first one does 
a bad job on gain-settings. He absolutely depends on him, therefore 
I would never do that!

That's the way 99% of us pros do. No need to change that!
