I've been told by my neighbor Roy that there is a componet in my distruter
called points that controls when the coil fires and I need to replace it
before Y2K to avoid problems.I called the local dealer and he laughed at
me.I talked to my mechanic at the Mercedes dealership and he could'nt help
me.I moved to this rural area to escape the problems involed with city life
but between these animals and this stupid tractor this hobby farm hardly
seems like a hobby anymore.By the way what is a coil and is it manditory
for the tracotr to run or is it just part of the smog system?
