Thanks again for your wonderful message. I will pray about it. Oh...and I
can assure you that nothing is based on guilt. Another possible problem you
mentioned is also answered. I honestly feel that, although each child is
different, they have no deep seated problem on the adoption. The only one my
son had was that my husband (ex now) didn't have the capacity to love. My ex
has missed a lot. These are wonderful kids in every way. Oh well, that's
his problem. My daughter has always let me know that she has felt that she
didn't miss a thing. My son has except for this one thing. At almost forty
he still sends birthday cards with no response, but as my son said when
questioned on it, "He's the only father I ever had!" They haven't missed a
lot as far as life is concerned..it's been (and is) a good one. We've
camped, lived in another country for a year, have my relatives and each other
and lots of love and understanding from me to them and them to me. As you
mentioned--the next step is praying. I'll talk to you again, I hope. Helen
