The 16 & 32 bit DOS versions are having trouble maitaining Lastread
pointers in msg format Netmail areas.  On occasion it works but, usually,
it says tha there are 0 messages in the area and, after accessing the area,
shows that there are, in fact, messages but the pointer is back to 1.msg --
