Ashcroft is former governor of Missouri and currently a U.S. Senator in
the state of Missouri.  He is a conservative Republican, communicates
well, is pro-life, is of strong moral character, and is not afraid to
stand up for what he believes.  He has made a couple of guest
appearances on James Dobson's "Focus on the Family" show, and I like
what I heard and firmly support what he stands for.
