LS>Here's a couple of items I see needed...

LS>1. We need to elect board members. the board will decide what goes

How about a a specifications committee or board? To get all the
options that are "needed" and have them assign the different "phases"
of the project?
For example: Here's a "demo" list of "options" that's let's say was
collected from "this project group" to be incorporated into the "new
BBS"
Internet Mail package
MHS Mail
Fido Mail
STMP Gateway
BBS Message Base
Now, just suppose these five "options" are going to be incorporated
into the new BBS package. The "specifications committee" assigns
someone to draw up a "flowchart" of how the above four items are going
to "fit" into the project. Again for example:
1) What type of Front end mailer
2) What type of Tosser/Scanner
3) BBS message base structure
4) RFC-822 & other Specs
LS>board since this was you're idea and he's the moderator of this
LS>conference.
But also make this "board" responsible for something (i.e. working
board such as a "specifications committee") ??
LS>2. We need is a flow chart or some kind of layout as too what we
LS>intend to do and how we should go about it.
How about this board setting up some sort of "flowchart Group" that has
the background experience that covers several areas of this project?
Even using inexperienced users that would be willing to do the research?
LS>
LS>3. We need more input from others, I've seen very little on this
LS>topic, we need to make everyone feel part of this project with or
LS>without code input.
We agree.....
LS>4. We need to KISS IT! "keep it simple stupid!"
Again, we agree......like - is this project all going to be written in
one code or will it be decided to let different sections be written in
different code as long as it can be linked together when compiled?
LS>This is not all I have to say on this subject but it will due for
LS>now. If I'm speaking out of turn say so...
Same here..
Best regards,
